EUR/JPY breaks below 50 and 200 hours MA at 146.75

FXStreet (San Francisco) - The Euro is extending its rejection of the 147.20 against the Japanese Yen and after a brief decline to test the key 146.50, it's now consolidating levels below the MA 50 and 200 hours at 146.75.

Currently, EUR/JPY is trading at 146.72, up 0.08% on the day, having posted a daily high at 147.25 and low at 146.50. EUR/JPY spot is in neutral territory according to the hourly FXStreet OB/OS Index, while the FXStreet Trend Index is strongly bearish.

EUR/JPY levels

Below the 146.50, it will find supports at 146.40 and 146.00. To the upside, resistances are at 146.75, 147.00 and 147.20.

EUR/USD lining up the yearly lows

EUR/USD is trading at 1.2154, down -0.19% on the day, having posted a daily high at 1.2222 and low at 1.2143.
