Syriza-ANEL coalition deal imminent

FXStreet (Bali) - Following the announcement of his election victory, Greek Syriza's leader Mr. Tsipras is to be sworn-in as new Prime Minister on Monday, expecting to form a new government by Wednesday, according to a party official, after the left-wing formation fell short from reaching an absolute majority.

Varies market sources are reporting that Syriza has reached a coalition deal with the right-wing anti-bailout Independent Greeks (ANEL), with his leader Kammenos confirming that he is going to agree to take part in new govt tomorrow morning, noting that "there has already been a preliminary agreement."

According to Yannis Koutsomitis, BBC Contributor, on his Twitter account: "ANEL is a hardcore eurosceptic party, meaning that a potential deal with the Eurozone just became a lot harder to reach." Greece designated Prime Minister Tsipras is set to meet with ANEL leader Kammenos on Tuesday, looking to strike a coalition deal.
