EUR/USD retraces to sub-1.3600 levels briefly

The Euro is currently trading down against the US Dollar after peaking to 1.3620 intra-day high. In the latest few minutes, the EUR/USD made an attempt to trade below the 1.3600 price but the pair found buying interest at 1.3595 and it bounced to 1.3610.

ECB holds rates in January

The European Central Bank announced its decision today to keep the main refinancing rate unchanged at 0.25% and the deposit rate at 0% in January.
