Analysts at Nomura offered their outlook for the USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 3 pips higher than the previous fix (6.8793 from 6.8790) and 104 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.8897.

The basket implied change is 127 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.8770 from 6.8897)."
