EU construction workers should have the right to "settled status" - UK industry bodies

A BBC report says the UK industry bodies have urged to government to provide EU construction workers the right to "settled status" in the UK after Brexit. 

The industry bodies feel the construction sector, which employs around 3 million people, faces "cliff edge" skills shortages over access to EU workers and added that UK already has construction skill shortage.
