Brexit news: Corbyn will not talk to PM May before a no-deal Brexit is off table - The Guardian

UK press is reporting that Jeremy Corbyn said he will not hold talks with Theresa May until the prime minister agrees to remove the threat of a no-deal Brexit.

This follows the victory of the no-confidence vote following yesterday's humiliating defeat where PM May lost the 'meaningful vote' on her Brexit plan by a record margin of 432 to 202. Markets had expected May to win considering the DUP and hardline Brexiteers had guaranteed their backing and indeed she won with 325 votes.

PM May said she would open up Brexit negotiations to a cross-party approach. However, Guardian newspaper has said that the 'Labour leader insists ‘catastrophic’ prospect must be ruled out before parties can discuss next move.'
