US Pres. Trump: N. Korea will thrive like Vietnam if it denuclearises, “potential is AWESOME”

Ahead of his second Summit with the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Hanoi later on Wednesday, the US President Trump took to Twitter to express some upbeat remarks on his North Korean counterpart.

Trump tweeted: “Vietnam is thriving like few places on earth. North Korea would be the same, and very quickly, if it would denuclearize. The potential is AWESOME, a great opportunity, like almost none other in history, for my friend Kim Jong Un.”
